Inagaw na Bituin actor Renz Valerio proved that he can balance his showbiz career and studies as he is graduating soon with magna cum laude honors.
The 20-year-old actor proudly shared his achievements on social media.
“VALERIO, RENZ MICHAEL V. BSBA - Marketing Management. Magna Cum Laude. Best in Marketing Research. Academic Excellence Awardee Batch 2019”
The Kapuso actor also quoted his parents advice about making education his priority.
“Tapusin mo pagaaral mo, yan lang ang hindi mananakaw sa'yo. Kapag hindi ka na artista, 'yan ang panghahawakan mo para hindi ka maliitin ng kahit na sino."
“Mga salitang walang sawang pinaalala saakin ng mama at papa ko. MAHIRAP pagsabayin ang pagaartista at ang pagaaral. Sa schedule, focus, physical and emotional commitment, energy, mental challenges. If only you guys knew. Pero I won't let that stop me from achieving the things that the Lord has for me. To my friends, my relatives, my mentors... thank you.”
On the same post, he thanked everyone who paved the way for his studies.
“To Jo-Anne, Ate Mika, Papa, and Mama... thank you. This is for you. Salamat sa pagsama at pagtulong saakin. I cannot thank you enough. A chapter has ended. Here's to many more to come. Moving forward.”
Renz is graduating with a degree in Marketing Management from Our Lady of Fatima University, Antipolo City.
