Gabbi shared in the "Keds' Ladies for Ladies" event that there's a good and bad side in this generation. With the digital age, everyone is within reach. However, the hitch is, it is similarly easy for someone to tear down another person.

She said, “We all know how artistas are in the Philippines especially in this time. There's social media, there's Instagram, there's Twitter, anybody can reach you. Anybody can say something to you, good or bad. If it's a good thing, good for you. If it boosts you, if it motivates you, use it in your work, use it as your booster.”

Gabbi added that when it comes to ruthless comments, it will have a negative weight on somebody.

“Bashers get to us, it affects us. Even though you say na parang you don't know them, it's okay. Deep down... I cry every night before I sleep, it bothers you, it bothers you at work. You kind of reflect on yourself if it's really true. Am I really maarte? Am I really mayabang, 'di ba?”

With that, Gabbi spoke about how people can transform a negative comment as an inspiration to look for the goodness within us.

“For me I use those things that they're saying to motivate me. To prove to them that I am confident that I am not like that.”

Gabbi is one of the speakers of the Keds' Ladies for Ladies event last March 18 in Acceler8, Makati City.
