According to Michelle, their team organized a medical mission to help assess the children in Sagada. She said, “I'm here with Center for Possibilities., Inc. in Sagada. We organized a medical mission and brought psychiatrists and psychologists from Manila to diagnose and assess kids with developmental disabilities.”

The activity is not only aimed towards children who are in need of medical attention as Michelle's team also assisted families and caregivers by imparting knowledge on how to take care of children with developmental disabilities.

“The medical mission does not only focus on the kids but rather their immediate family member and caregivers to help answer and questions that they had regarding raising a family and their future. There was a panel discussion, question and answer portion and a film viewing of the movie "Yakap" which was produced by Dolores Cheng (who is also the best friend of my grandmother who passed away 5 years ago). She brought me on board the foundation as soon as I expressed interests in supporting the cause given that I have two autistic brothers.”

The Kapuso star expressed her heartwarming experience with the children.

“It's been an amazing experience with these kids. 5 years ago, some of them couldn't even converse and now you have them keeping up a conversation and even performing for you. So much progress can still be made but I'm glad we're on the right track. @centerforpossibilities #fromdisabledtoenabled.”

According to Michelle, she will be in Sagada until the 1st of April. A video about the medical mission will be released on her birthday, April 24.
