Ruffa Gutierrez's daughter Lorin shares the reason behind her change of last name.
The eldest daughter of Ruffa Gutierrez, Lorin, revealed why she changed her surname from Bektas to Gutierrez in her social media accounts.
In a video that she uploaded on her YouTube channel, she addressed the full details on the use of Gutierrez as her new surname in her accounts.
Lorin said, "I have not changed my surname. I still go by Lorin Bektas. Legally, in school, my friends it's what they know my name as."
Lorin added that she will be using Gutierrez, her mom's surname as her showbiz name.
"It's just Lorin Gutierrez is a better screen name. So that's what me and my management collectively decided that when it comes to showbiz or public presentations or social media, that's what I will call myself."
