Ombudsman Remulla on Pia, Alan Cayetano's PH exit: They probably needed a break

Ombudsman Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla said Friday that he is not alarmed by the foreign trip of Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Pia Cayetano, saying that they likely needed a break.

While they are not facing cases, Alan Peter Cayetano has been scrutinized for alleged anomalies in the 2019 SEA Games when he was chairperson of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee.

“Probably they need a break. I know that they have been under stress,” Remulla said in a briefing.

“Tingin ko naman babalik naman. Mayor pa si Lani, si Lani sumama, mabuting asawa… tingin ko naman hindi nila iiwan 'yung kanilang possiyon,” Remulla added. —AOL, GMA News
