Heart Evangelista finds peace in an old photo on Day 1 of community quarantine

While others are watching their favorite TV series on Netflix or reading books on the first day of Metro Manila-wide community quarantine, Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista spent her day while looking at her old photo.

In a post on Instagram, Heart shared an old photo of her looking fashionista.

“Having a quiet Sunday morning and finding peace by looking through some old photos,” Heart wrote in the caption.

Heart also gave pieces of advice to netizens on how to deal with the “community quarantine” in Metro Manila, “Stay calm, composed, and cautious.

“As today's community quarantine begins, here's a reminder that we should all stay calm, composed, and cautious in the following weeks,” she advised.

“Make sure to frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Find a fun song to sing while doing this!

“Make it a habit to sanitize your hands with alcohol as much as possible!

“Also, avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth because this is how the virus enters our systems!

“Try your best to maintain social distance to avoid spreading or contracting the disease.”

Heart also had some words for people who bought many alcohols and hand sanitizers.

“When buying tissue, alcohol, hand sanitizers, etc, let's think of everyone in need,” she asked.

“There are many people who need these as well and hoarding them is not going to do anyone any good.

“We're all in this together so let's do our best to make sure we give everyone else the chance to protect themselves.

“Let's also not forget to pray for the safety of our country during these trying times.”
