Athletes auction off their jerseys to help frontliners

Select volleyball players have auctioned off their jerseys to raise funds to help frontliners.

Former Ateneo Lady Eagle Jia Morado started Every Little Thing Counts when she auctioned off her final year jersey in the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

After Jia, former De La Salle University Stalwart Ara Galang also auctioned off her jersey.

University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses Eya Laure, Imee Hernandez, Maji Mangulabnan, Det Pepito, and Janna Torres also placed their UAAP Season 80 jerseys, their final playing year in the UAAP Juniors, on auction. Their jerseys are sold as one.

Santa Lucia Lady Realtors players Mika Reyes, Pam Lastimosa, Bang Pineda, Djanel Cheng, Rubie de Leon, Amy Ahomiro, Marge Tejada, Royce Tubino, and Alex Bollier likewise auctioned off their jerseys in the recently concluded 2020 Philippine Superliga Grand Prix.

Netizens can have a chance to own these jerseys by commenting on the post on Every Little Thing Counts Facebook page. Auction starts at 1200 and has an increment of 100.

As of March 30, the group has already raised more than 300,000 and has already distributed supplies to hospitals.
