Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling recovers from COVID-19 symptoms

Best-selling author of the Harry Potter Series J. K. Rowling or Joanne Rowling in real life has informed her more than 14 million followers on Twitter that she recently recovered from the symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The British author/ film producer tweeted on April 6 that she did not take any test for COVID-19 but for the past weeks had been suffering from symptoms associated with the disease.

"Please watch this doc from Queens Hospital explain how to relieve respiratory symptoms. For last 2 weeks I've had all symptoms of C19 (tho haven't been tested) & did this on doc husband's advice. I'm fully recovered & technique helped a lot.


She also expressed her gratitude to everyone for the messages that she has received now that she has fully recovered.

"Thank you for your kind and lovely messages! I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that's recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me. Stay safe, everyone "
