PGH, in partnership with pet food brand Royal Canin, will provide a month's supply of pet food for one dog or cat of each PGH frontliner.

They reportedly have supplies for 100 frontliners and the beneficiaries will be randomized.

Several hospitals have shown their appreciation and gratitude to the courageous doctors, nurses, and medical workers who are in the front line of the war against COVID-19.

But it's the first time that a hospital has made a thoughtful donation to ensure that the fur babies of frontliners are well taken care of, while their humans are hard at work in caring for and saving the lives of COVID-19 patients.

Netizens have expressed their approval of this unique way of giving back to frontliners, and some have even communicated their interest in donating more pet food so more frontliners can be added as beneficiaries.
