Vlogger/ content creator Wil Dasovich is beyond proud of the achievements of his sister Haley, most particularly her most recent win: Best in Travel at The Shorty Awards.

Based on their website, The Shorty Awards honors the best of social media by recognizing the influencers, brands, and organizations on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

Wil Dasovich shares his Manila lockdown story with Nico Bolzico

In Haley's Instagram post, she couldn't contain her emotions about her big win.

She said, "I won the Shorty Award for BEST IN TRAVEL!!!! This award is meant to be shared with all of you, YOU have been a huge part of this journey and I'm so thankful for all of the OGs sticking with me!"

"And to my OG team, the PH Vlogsquad (RIP we need a new name) my ride-or-dies @wil_dasovich @danielcmarsh and @jakodeleon we continue to live by the motto that Jako held down from the beginning, WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS 🏽️ A million thank you's to you all!"

In a separate Instagram post, Wil Dasovich commended his sibling and said that she finally got the recognition she deserved for being an amazing content creator.

"Today my sister @haleydasovich hit the pinnacle and finally got the recognition she deserves. She just won the @shortyawards for #BestInTravel and deserved it!

"She has been female solo traveling all these years (even before the vlog) and getting into the rougher and true parts of each country, telling real stories while using her introspective capabilities to an extent which the average stereotypical travel influencer cannot do.

"Congrats again on this huge accomplishment! Miss you fam, love you...️️️ #LiveBetter"

SHE DA BEST!!! (In DJ Khalid voice) . Today my sister @haleydasovich hit the pinnacle and finally got the recognition she deserves. She just won the @shortyawards for #BestInTravel and 💯 deserved it! She has been female solo traveling all these years (even before the vlog) and getting into the rougher and true parts of each country, telling real stories while using her introspective capabilities to an extent which the average stereotypical travel influencer cannot do. Behind this seemingly 'simple award' represents the never ending sleepless nights, dangerous situations even some life threatening, mind crippling creative blocks, and more than anything surviving the ultra competitive and anxiety filled world of Youtube/content creating (even more so in the Traveling category!) whilst keeping it together and being able to make a difference in people's perceptions of the different facets of life. This is what travel vlogging is all about - pushing yourself to the limit, experiencing something new, and being able to communicate that story to the viewer in a way that is not only informative but will make you think in an inorganic way, induce open minded thinking, and ultimately open yourself to an ulterior way of thinking. . P.S. This photo was the last time we were together, competing with each other in a swimming competition. We have been competing with each other since childhood (friendly competition not destructive competition) and I believe that is one thing that's helped push the both of us to strive for success.
