Wil Dasovich Manila lockdown vlog

Wil Dasovich's Manila lockdown vlog with Nico Bolzico trends on YouTube.

Vlogger Wil Dasovich offered netizens a peek at what happened when he and Nico Bolzico got the news last week that President Rodrigo Duterte was putting Metro Manila in a community quarantine, while they were in Davao.

Add to the growing problem that they were facing if they will be able to return to Manila, Wil learned that there was a confirmed patient of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) at the Joya North Tower Condominium in Rockwell Center where he was staying.

His video titled 'Our Manila Lockdown Story (ft. Nico bolzico)' is among the trending videos in YouTube since he uploaded it on Monday, March 16.

In the video, the popular vlogger shared his thoughts on the fear of people about COVID-19 and reminded everyone that we should not panic.

He explained, "As long as you just take right precaution or measures as you are supposed to-- clean hygiene, wash your hands, don't meet with other people, wear a mask\ when you go out, be protected, and all that stuff, it should be okay.

"If you do contract the virus, just remember there is floating statistics everywhere, but it is somewhere between one to five percent of people is the mortality rate. So chances are you will be okay if worse comes to worst.

"There's never a reason to panic. Panicking induces stress and stress actually hurts your immune system, which will make you more susceptible to becoming infected or worsen your health."
