Bb Pilipinas 2020 coronation night postponed indefinitely

By Racquel Quieta

The highly anticipated coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas 2020 pageant has been postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (PCI) made the announcement on their official Facebook page.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2020 coronation night was originally scheduled to happen on April 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It was later moved to May 31 in observance of the community quarantine rules being implemented then.

And on May 25, it has officially been postponed until further notice, to protect the health of the candidates, their families, avid supporters, and the people who work behind the scenes to make the pageant a success.

BPCI promises to push through with the coronation night as soon as the situation allows and there's less threat of COVID-19 transmission or infection.

There are 40 hopefuls vying to take home one of the five crowns in the Binibining Pilipinas 2020 pageant.
