Taeyang just reminded everyone of his impressive vocals by doing a cover of Bang Ye-dam's 'Wayo'
It's been three years since O.G. K-pop idol Taeyang has released a new track, but everyone was still blown away by the singer's impressive vocals when he made a surprise video covering the single of TREASURE member Bang Ye-dam.
Both VIPs and TREASURE fans were in for a treat yesterday when the singer uploaded a teaser for “Wayo,” the upcoming solo track of Bang Ye-dam.
It may not be much but the cover proved that Taeyang is still the vocal king for VIPs.
As of this writing, the 10-second teaser has already received more than 300K likes on Instagram.
Over in Twitter, fans shared their excitement to see the YG Entertainment artist supporting his hoobaes (a younger artist or a junior) by performing the cover.

The question now is, when will we get more of Taeyang?
BIGBANG was originally included in the star-studded lineup at this year's Coachella. However, due to the coronavirus, the outdoor concert has been postponed and moved to a later date this October.
Moreover, Taeyang continues to provide content for his fans through his YouTube documentary series titled “White Night” which continues to drop new episodes each week.
Meanwhile, Bang Ye-dam's solo single “Wayo” is slated to be released on June 5 a month before TREASURE's scheduled debut.
In a statement made by YG Entertainment, it said that Bang Ye-dam's solo will be released before debut because he had “been preparing for his solo project long before TREASURE was formed.”
Adding, “Bang Ye-dam has been a trainee at YG Entertainment for seven years and this solo release is intended as a surprise gift for fans before TREASURE's official debut.”
“Wayo” is composed by hitmaker Future Bounce alongside WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon and Andrew Choi. The lyrics are written by Future Bounce, Kang Seung Yoon, as well as AKMU's Chanhyuk.
According to reports, the solo single will also have a music video but Bang Ye-dam will not make any appearances to promote the single.
