The COVID-19 pandemic may have kept everyone physically distant from one another, but it definitely won't stop people from uniting for a good cause virtually. One great example of this is the World Vision Virtual Run for Children.

World Vision, in partnership with Takbo.ph, is providing an excellent opportunity for people to donate for Filipino children in need, while staying safe in their own homes, through its virtual charity run.

During the online press launch for the virtual run, World Vision ambassadors Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Enzo Pineda revealed that it's their first time joining a virtual run, and they're both excited to take part in it.

Jasmine who's been participating in World Vision's charity runs since 2013 said she will be doing the 21k run this year and she will be running for two advocacies: for children's education and health.

The Kapuso star also emphasized that more than staying fit; it is the act of helping others that matters more when joining charity runs.

She said, “It's not about the distance. It's about what you put out there.”

Enzo, on the other hand, is grateful to be part of World Vision's Virtual Run for Children, as he considers it as his way of giving back.

He said, “I feel like I have a good life, so I want others to experience it.”
