Wendell Ramos has 'mixed emotions' on his first day of duty as a firefighter

Kapuso actor and Prima Donnas star Wendell Ramos have reported for duty after receiving his certification of training under Ang Bumbero ng Pilipinas (ABP).

Wendell posted his first duty as a volunteer firefighter and expressed the overwhelming emotions he felt for the families who were affected by the disaster.

He wrote, "Felt sorry for the people and the community we responded today."

"First day of duty as a volunteer firefighter, mixed emotions" he added.

On a lighter note, he said, "But I am thankful for the guidance of my fellow #ABPangbumberongpilipinas #PHS
Fireout! #Godisincontrol #thankyoufathergod #injesusname."

As mentioned in ABP's official Facebook page, the group is “a non-government organization which aims to unite and provide the latest information and updates to firefighter groups in the Philippines.”


Aside from Wendell, other celebrities have also recently joined training for public safety organizations, Beauty Gonzalez underwent exercises with the Special Operations Unit (SOU) of the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group.

Alos, Rocco Nacino is officially a Philippine Navy reservist while Dingdong Dantes is a lieutenant commander in the PH Navy reserve force.
