Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation) actor Neil Ryan Sese is making active use of the time during the pandemic by not only providing food for customers but also employment to a few riders under his seafood business.

On Instagram, the 41-year-old actor shared a few selfies and photos of his riders whom he calls “partners” that help him deliver goods on a daily basis.

He shared, “Meet the riders of K&G Seafood delivery.

“Every time you order from us, shipping cost goes to our partner bikers who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With this partnership, we hope to give them the opportunity to earn and provide the needs of their families during this time.

“Fish be with you.”

It was only on June 6 when Neil introduced his new business to the public and said that the idea stemmed from the need to earn money because of the lockdown.

He said in an interview for Padyak Exploration, “Itong K&G Seafood nagsimula lang noong lockdown.

“Walang taping, one month akong nasa bahay lang, wala namang income so labas ka lang ng labas ng pera. Medyo mauubos 'yung ipon mo.

“So naisip ko na magtayo ng negosyo. Parang, ano ba 'yung needs ng tao? Ano ba 'yung bibilhin nila?

“Naisip ko pwede 'yung seafood kasi naalala ko na may kaibigan ako na seafood dealer. 'Yun kinausap ko siya and nakipag-tie up ako sa kanya.”

With the help of his friends from the showbiz industry, Neil was able to gradually expand his business and help riders who are in need of employment.

Adding, “Unang-una nakakataba talaga sa puso kasi natutulungan ko silang mga riders.

“Kasi noong una talaga, 'yung first few weeks nila, 'yung isa naluha pa kasi malaki na yung nakuha niya. Mga 850 parang ganun

“Ang sarap lang nung feeling na nakakatulong ka sa tao.”
