Ashley Rivera made her alter ego Petra Sigamuymuy Mahalimuyak out of boredom. She is best known for her spoken English with “exaggerated version of the Filipino accent” in her viral videos.
Her most-viewed video to-date “How To Dance In A club” reached almost five million views in YouTube. “How To Get Abs In 1 Min” got two million views, while her “How to Dougie” and “My British accent” videos have one million views each.
Prior to becoming a social media personality, the YouTube comedian was once an actress in the Philippines before she moved to Las Vegas where she made her videos. She moved back to her home country to pursue her showbiz career the second time around.
Ashley has since signed with GMA Artist Center.
