By Marah Ruiz

Singer and comedian Nar Cabico has just returned to his home in Austin, Texas after a few days of performing in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As he is sitting in the airport waiting for his flight he reflected on how far he has gone as a musician.

He remembers being discouraged by others for choosing a career in music.

"'Wala kang mararating sa music music na 'yan!' Perks of being a wallflower. Habang ineenjoy ko itong VIP lounge ng Frontier Airlines, napamuni-muni ako dati kung paano ako kinakabahan sa bawat patak ng metro ng taxi," he says of his struggles before.

Nar is now part of a band in the US and travels to perform in various states.

"Now, I'm seeing more of the world and its peoples, I realized that more than money, nurturing meaningful relationships will truly take you further (and faaarther) in life," he shares.

He also encouraged young and struggling artists and musicians to have 'patience and faith' in their chosen career.

"Cheers to us, underdogs- we are the hardest working bunch on Earth 🏾 Sa younger baby artists, Paciencia Y Fe ," he wrote.

Nar has previously shared a sentimental cover of "La Vie en Rose" from his performance in Las Vegas.
