Kyline Alcantara on her surprise 18th birthday party: 'Intimate, private'
Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara expressed her satisfaction at the surprise birthday party that was prepared for her by family and close friends. She celebrated her 18th birthday last September 3.
Kyline was supposed to have a debut party at a hotel but she needed to postpone it because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“'Yung celebration ng debut ko po, pumunta po kami ng Tagaytay with some of my close friends and family, nandoon lang po kami, at nagkuwentuhan,” the Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit actress shared.
“I celebrated my 18th birthday the way I like it: intimate, private, like 'yung mga friends ko lang na sobrang close ko ['yung present.]”
Kyline also shared how her handler from GMA Artist Center, Molly Lasic, told her about a new endorsement as a disguise.
“Noong nag-18th birthday photo shoot ako, minention sa akin ng handler ko, si Ate Molly, na magkakaroon daw ng meeting for an endorsement,” she shared.
“So sabi ko, 'Anong endorsement?' Sabi niya parang napkin or something. Sabi ko, 'Okay, okay.'
“Tapos hindi kasi siya nangungulit kapag may meeting and ako kasi, ewan ko, magaling ako makaamoy ng surprises.
“Kaya sabi nung mga kaibigan ko, 'Ang pangit mo i-surprise kasi hindi ka naman talaga nasu-surprise.' Paminsan-minsan lang lang pag natatsambahan nila.
“Naamoy ko ['yung surprise], pero parang ayoko naman mag-assume kasi pagtatawanan din ako ng mga kaibigan ko.
“And 'yun nga, nagulat ako na may mga friends ako doon, some of my friends were there, so ang saya, ang sarap sa pakiramdam.”
On September 9, Nice Print Photos released the pictures that were taken in Kyline's surprise, simple, and intimate birthday celebration.
