Kapuso girl group XOXO wants to be known not just for their feisty image but also for spreading women empowerment.

Kapuso girl group XOXO--composed of Melbelline Caluag, Lyra Micolob, Muriel Lomadilla and Danielle Ozaraga, is all about women empowerment.

After their journey as finalists from reality singing content 'The Clash Season 1' the girls debuted in 2019 as XOXO.

Recently the girls have finally released their own single, entitled XOXO, a dance track that features their powerful vocals.

Member Muriel expressed how their group wants to represent body positivity.

"Body positivity po talaga ang stand namin as a group. Kung titignan niyo po kaming apat, magkakaiba kami ng height, sizes, shapes, and voice quality.

"Gusto namin ipakita na kahit hindi kami 'yung standard ng society sa sexy o maganda, pero kahit ganito po kami alam po namin sa sarili namin na magaganda at sexy din po kami. If you feel sexy in the body that you're in, own it."

Lyra agreed and added, "It's not about the size or skin color you're in. Hindi 'yun dapat maging hadlang. Sa first ever single namin, upbeat at powerful talaga siya. It's a dance single."
