Michelle Madrigal

“I thought I've experienced everything in my 20's but…” writes Michelle Madrigal as she turns a year older.

Actress and model Michelle Madrigal just turned a year older on Wednesday, November 4, and to celebrate she's written a touching letter to her younger self.

“It's my birthday! 32 [years old] and wouldn't have it any other way,” she said along with her beautiful portrait.

“I could say that life really begins at 30. I thought I'd experienced everything in my 20s, but boy was I wrong!!!”

Michelle said that if there's a piece of advice she could give her younger self, it would be to learn how to slow down.

“My youth was compiled of drunken nights, moving from one relationship to another, and lots of heartbreaks and lessons,” she explained.

“If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be to slow down so I could enjoy my time and embrace genuine happiness from within.

“Becoming a wife and a mother is something my inner damaged self wasn't ready for because I gave away all my energy to people without knowing what it could do to me at the present moment.”

She then turned to her readers to say, “To all you young ladies, enjoy your time. Protect your energy, and live life to the fullest! Cheers to self-healing.”
