The English actor is in a relationship with actress Georgia Groome.
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is the latest celebrity to join Instagram belatedly.
The 32-year-old English actor made his debut on the social media platform by introducing his six-month-old daughter with actress Georgia Groome.
Rupert made fun of his late foray to Instagram by writing, “…only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram!”
He added, “Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert.”
Rupert rose to fame for his portrayal of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise.
The movie - an adaptation of the popular children's book written by J.K. Rowling - ran from 2001 to 2011, releasing eight installments based on the book series.
Rupert and Georgie have been together since 2011.
It was in April this year when the couple announced that they were expecting a baby.
Georgie gave birth in May this year though the couple did not divulge their child's name.
“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl,” the couple's publicist told the media in May.
“We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”
