Rupert Grint now a father to baby girl

Rupert Grint is now a dad!

The "Harry Potter" actor and his girlfriend Georgia Groome just welcomed a baby girl.

"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl," the couple's publicist told entertainment websites. "We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."

The couple announced that they were expecting a baby just last month.

Grint and Groome have been together since 2011.
