Here's everything Marvel announced during Disney's Investor Day 2020

Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios president and the man behind the successful Marvel Cinematic Universe, took the stage at Disney's Investor Day to announce new titles that will be coming to Marvel Cinematic Universe in theaters and on Disney+.

Aside from new titles, Marvel also released some sneak-peeks of its Disney+ television series like Wanda Vision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Marvel's first animated series, What If…?.

Here's a list of everything Marvel announced during Disney's Investor Day 2020.

DISNEY+ EXCLUSIVE SERIES

Wanda Vision
Available on January 15, 2021

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision in Wanda Vision as they try to conceal their powers while living in an ideal suburban town of Westview.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Available in March 2021.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their roles as Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier), respectively, in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Loki
Available in May 2021

Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as the God of Mischief in Loki.

In the series, Loki is trapped in his own crime thriller as he uses the Tesseract to travel through time and alter human history.

What if…?
Available Summer 2021

Marvel's first animated series, What If…?, reimagines what would happen if major moments from the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe occurred differently.

Ms. Marvel
Available late 2021

After having online auditions for months, Iman Vellani was cast as the 16-year-old Muslim Pakistani-American Kamala Khan in the series Ms. Marvel.

Hawkeye
Available late 2021

Feige confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld will portray the role of Kate Bishop, the protegé of Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye portrayed by Jeremy Renner.

Also in the cast are Vera Farmiga (Eleanor Bishop), Fre Fee (Kazi), and Alaqua Cox (Maya Lopez).

She Hulk
Available in 2022

Feige confirmed that Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany will portray Jennifer Walters/She Hulk in the character's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Tim Roth returning as Abomination.

Mark Ruffalo will also appear in the series as the Hulk. Feige also teases that other superheroes could appear in the series.

Moon Knight
Available in 2022

Moon Knight is a vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Oscar Isaac was rumored to play the title role with Mohamed Diab as the director.

Secret Invasion
In development

Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury in Secret Invasion, together with Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, who was introduced in Captain Marvel (2019).

Feige described the Secret Invasion as “arguably the biggest crossover comic event in the last 20 years,” after the Civil War.

Ironheart
In development

Dominique Thorne will portray Riri Williams/Ironheart, who has the most advanced armor since Iron Man.

Armor Wars
In development

Don Cheadle will reprise his role as War Machine in Armor Wars, which tells Tony Stark's greatest fear that his technology falls into the wrong hands.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
In development

James Gunn is set to direct and produce Marvel's first-ever live-action holiday special.

The shooting of the holiday special will be done during the production of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.

I Am Groot
In development

Everyone's favorite tree, Groot, will have its own series in I Am Groot, which will feature new and unusual characters.

MOVIES

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
In theaters on July 9, 2021

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings just wrapped its production in Russia where Simu Liu portrays Shang-Chi, a skilled martial artist.

Awkwafina plays Katy, Tony Leung as Wenwu/Mandari, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan.

Eternals
In theaters on November 5, 2021

The new ensemble of Marvel superheroes will be introduced in the upcoming film, Eternals.

The star-studded cast of Eternals includes Angelina Jolie (Thena), Gemma Chan (Sersi), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), Barry Keoghan (Druig), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Kumail Nanjiano (Kingo), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), and Lia McHugh (Sprite).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
In theaters on March 25, 2022

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently shooting in London with Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Elizabeth Olsen reprising their respective roles. Xochitl Gomez is also joining the cast as America Chavez.

Thor: Love and Thunder
In theaters on May 6, 2022

The production of Thor: Love and Thunder, headed by director Taika Waititi, will begin in January 2021 with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson reprising their roles.

Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale, who portrayed Batman in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, will portray Gorr The God Butcher.

Black Panther II
In theaters on July 8, 2022

Feige paid tribute to late actor Chadwick Boseman by not recasting the character of King T'Challa/Black Panther. According to Feige, the movie will “continue to explore the world of Wakanda and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film.”

Captain Marvel 2
In development

Nia DaCosta will direct the upcoming sequel, Captain Marvel 2, becoming the first Black woman to direct a Marvel film.

Brie Larson will reprise her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the sequel. Joining her are Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

Blade
In development

Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali has been cast as Eric Brooks/Blade. Mahershala was already part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes in Marvel's Netflix series Luke Cage.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
In development

The third Ant-Man film is now officially titled: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer reprising their roles.

Kathryn Newton and Jonathan Majors will be joining the cast, portraying Cassie Lang and Kang The Conqueror, respectively.

Fantastic 4 feature
In development

Before exiting the stage, Feige also revealed that Marvel Studios is developing a feature about Marvel's first family, Fantastic Four, directed by Spider-Man director Jon Watts.

Aside from these new titles, the first movie in Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, will push through with its May 7, 2021 release.

The film was originally scheduled to be released on May 1, 2020. Disney pushed back the release to November 6, 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
