Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio has ticked off another item in his bucket list as he recently shared with his followers that he bought a property in Tagaytay.

Far from the public's assumption that he's planning to build his dream home in Tagaytay, the actor said that he's treating it as an investment.

“Inisip ko papataasin ko lang 'yung value niya tapos pwede ko ibenta tapos 'pag may extra money pwede akong magpagawa ng resthouse. Sobrang saya kasi nakuha ko siya nang hindi ganun kamahal. Tataas pa 'yung presyo niya in the future. I'm really excited,” he said in an interview with Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Lyn Ching on morning talk show Unang Hirit earlier today.

Netizens and his fellow celebrities, including Gabbi Garcia, Kimpoy Feliciano, Ashley Ortega, Gil Cuerva, Joaquin Domagoso, and Yasmien Kurdi, congratulated him on this new achievement.

Meanwhile, aside from this, Derrick is also gearing up for the much-awaited launch of the gamified reality talent competition Catch Me Out Philippines, where he will serve as one of the resident Celebrity Spotters along with actress-comedienne Kakai Bautista.

The show, hosted by comedian Jose Manalo, features contestants with world-class talents which are composed of professionals and amateurs, where Celebrity Spotters are tasked to spot the novice in a pool of pros.

“Sabay-sabay nating panoorin o hulaan kung sino ang baguhan at career na career at kung sino ang professional sa bagong handog ng GMA, ang 'Catch Me Out Philippines',” Derrick said.
