Space Sweepers

If you've already watched Netflix's newest Korean film 'Space Sweepers,' you heard it right! Someone DID speak Filipino.

Netizens were shocked when they thought they heard someone speak Filipino in Netflix's newest blockbuster film Space Sweepers, featuring Korean superstar Song Joong-ki.

But it's true! Someone really did speak Filipino in the space science fiction film.

In a scene, Joong-ki's character Tae Ho, alongside his crewmates, are at a restaurant discussing a job opportunity.

Suddenly, an annoyed waiter shouted, "O-order ba kayo? Kung hindi na naman, umalis na kayo!"

Tae Ho then ordered soda.

Space Sweepers is a South Korean space opera film dubbed as the first Korean space blockbuster.

The story is set in the year 2092, when four "misfits unearth explosive secrets during the attempted trade of a wide-eyed humanoid."

The movie is now streaming on Netflix.
