An exhibit showcasing the brilliance and uniqueness of Filipino artists called “New Hope” is also helping artists sell their works.
The exhibit features several talented artists including Vicson Apostol, Salvador “Buddy” Ching, David De Vera, Rigor Esguerra, France Landicho, Rudy Lunod, Mary Jane Palma, Thomas Papa, Myleen Velasquez, and Gabriel Villalobos.
In celebration of National Arts Month, Robinsons Land ARTablado conceptualized the exhibit to help various artists who were greatly affected by recent typhoons Rolly and Ulysses.
As society rises to the challenge of the new normal life in a global pandemic, the fight against the coronavirus became more complicated with the onset of typhoon season. Last year, strong typhoons destroyed numerous homes and forced thousands of Filipinos to evacuate.
And while enduring the quarantine, these artists were able to render their time to create wonderful artworks that thankfully, were not damaged by the typhoon.
A total of 38 artworks is currently on display at the Level 3, Veranda of Robinsons Galleria and are available for purchase to help these gifted local artists bounce back.
“New Hope” exhibit will run until February 28, 2021.
