Sharon Cuneta says future home can withstand an intensity 9 earthquake

Megastar Sharon Cuneta's “forever home” is currently under construction and the singer-actress happily shared its progress on social media.

On Instagram, Sharon posted a short clip of the construction and showed the site full of scaffoldings and workers diligently doing their job.

In the caption, she wrote, “[The] basement parking in our forever home is halfway done!

“It's under half the whole house. I am so excited that we're moving forward!”

Sharon mentioned that the construction began last year, around August, and that his contractor promised that they would be able to build the structure in a “little over two years.”

Sharon added, “I hope tapos na 'yung 'a little over,' pero I know hindi pa!

“But, basta super tibay, magaling ang pagkakagawa, at pulido, mabilis lang siguro naman din lilipas ang two years. Sana rin wala nang pandemya noon!

“Galing my workers! Everyone works and works, and in such an organized manner!”

She concluded, “I'm praying all goes well until the end. Kakayanin daw ng bahay namin kahit lindol na intensity 9 to 10! Thank God talaga!”

It was back in July when the actress shared that she's building her future home for herself, her husband, their children, and their pets.

At the time, Sharon said that building her home couldn't have come at a better time because she now feels financially secured for the years to come.

“It has taken us years to start rebuilding the new one because I got into debt of hundreds and millions,” the singer revealed in a post.

“Now, I am okay. I pray that we can complete this before they [kids] all grow up, get married, and move out. May it be a blessed, happy home. Less house, more home.”
