Pop icon Britney Spears just revealed that she went through a tough quarantine period in an Instagram post, and named the female celebrities and personalities who have been her greatest inspirations.

The 'Oops I Did It Again' singer did not specify whether she went through quarantine because she was exposed to COVID-19, or whether she has contracted it, or it was purely a preventive measure or requirement for work or travel.

But she did say that it was a tough time for her and she's grateful that social media saved the day.

“Being away from family and my boyfriend while quarantining was really hard for me but the good thing about social media is we can connect in a different way that helps us feel not alone in this crazy world 🏼‍ !!! “

In the same post, Britney named the inspirational women in her life who helped her get through the quarantine period.

Part of the pop superstar's post reads, “These are the women that have truly inspired my life ⭐️ !!!!”

She also added, “These cool ladies always add a spark to my day !!!!”

First on Britney's list is 'Basic Instinct' star Sharon Stone. The Hollywood actress sent Britney some love by dropping by in the comments section.

Sharon said, “Thank you . You are one of the greatest and most beloved talents this world in this present moment knows, loves, and is standing behind. Choose your future; visualize your dream.”

Britney also included her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who simply replied with emojis of dancing girls.

Others who Britney gave a shoutout to were 'Sex and the City ' star Sarah Jessica Parker, yoga and fitness teacher Tawny Janae, and sisters Miley and Noah Cyrus.

It can be recalled that Miley Cyrus mentioned Britney Spears in the line of her classic hit 'Party in the U.S.A' which says, “That's when the DJ dropped my favorite tune and a Britney song was on.”

Miley's younger sister, Noah Cyrus, expressed her mutual love for Britney by commenting, “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MY QUEEN!!!!!!” and “”

Britney also included the photo of 'Black Swan' and 'Thor' actress Natalie Portman in her post.

Just a month ago, Britney posted vacation photos and videos of her and boyfriend Sam Asghari during their trip to Maui.

And earlier this month, on March 2, she shared a rare photo of her grown-up son, Sean Preston and Jayden.

And lately, the pop icon has been dropping hints about the color red, leaving fans speculating whether it's an upcoming project or business, or a secret call for help.

It can be recalled that there's a lingering Free Britney movement, which supports the music icon's battle for her freedom for her conservatorship led by her father, Jamie Spears.
