LA Mumar and Vico Sotto

LA Mumar, Vico Sotto's older half-brother, says he is not skipping the line for a COVID-19 vaccine

Some personalities and public figures have been criticized over their COVID-19 vaccine jabs. Many suspect that these people used their power and influence to jump the queue to get inoculated.

Here are some celebrities who have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine:

However, some personalities are choosing to wait like the majority of the population.

Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto's older half-brother, LA Mumar, spoke up about getting inoculated.

He posted on social media, "My mom didn't skip the line, Vico didn't skip the line. Why would I?"

The Ateneo women's basketball coach emphasized the importance of values, "Shouldn't we hold on to our values more when things are difficult? What will I tell my children? It's ok to do something illegal because it's convenient?"

"My three boys are watching me, people around are watching and most importantly, God is too," LA added.

The post came after Vico Sotto encouraged people to register online for COVID-19 vaccines and wait for their turn. He even shared that his own mother, Coney Reyes, hasn't been vaccinated yet and is waiting for her vaccination schedule.

LA is Coney's eldest child with former husband and late PBA player Larry Mumar. Vico is the actress's son with former partner Vic Sotto, and is her third and youngest child.
