Sharon Cuneta turns emotional as she says goodbye to her family.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is flying to the U.S. where she is a legal resident.
Although the actress and singer didn't elaborate her reasons, but she mentioned that she needs to "breathe" and "gain strength."
In a social media post on Tuesday, May 11, the singer-actress posted a Philippine passport with a boarding pass inside.
She said on its caption, "I'm going home. Of course my real home, where my heart is, is where my husband and children are. But tonight I am flying home to my Mommy's Gramps' country, where only my eldest and I are legal residents.
"I need to breathe, collect myself, gain strength. Love you all and will miss you guys. Please pray for me, @mariano.peachy and @annadasig . God bless you always!"
She also documented her moments before leaving their home, hugging and praying with her family.
Sharon wrote in her caption, "Praying and saying bye to my family..."
Frankie wrote, "I love you mama please facetime me every minute of every day."
Sharon's recent post shows she has arrived in Los Angeles and was delighted to bump into an old friend.
"Home in L.A. with one of my lifelong best friends on the planet, Lorraine! On our way to dinner.😊🤗❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Thank You Jesus for a safe and enjoyable flight."
Recently, Sharon and husband Kiko Pangilinan celebrated their silver wedding anniversary at home.
