Bretman Rock gives a tour of his gorgeous home in Hawaii
Filipino-American social media star and reality TV celebrity Bretman Rock recently gave a tour of his vibrant villa on Architectural Digest, and it's as jaw-droppingly beautiful as the mountain and ocean views surrounding it.
During the virtual tour of his home, Bretman said his living room represents a lot about himself.
“Random, it's very colorful, and it's very gay. Duh!”
Although Bretman grew up in Hawaii, he's very much a Filipino at heart and he even has several Filipino-made pieces in his living room, including a red Kenneth Cobonpue blooming chair.
“And my favorite chair out of like my whole entire house is this bloom chair from Kenneth. He is a Filipino designer and it's called a blooming chair 'cause it's supposed to remember a flower.
“But, let's be real. Ya'll know what it resembles to me. So.. (laughs)
“It's very comfortable, actually. I don't know. I just feel like it's so sexual and so Bretman Rock.”
He also has a terrarium in his living room that has an LED name light bearing his moniker “Da Baddest” and a fireplace, which he says is rare to see in Hawaii.
As for his home office, Bretman described it as a "hot mess."
He has a rack full of Crocs in it and some of his awards are also on display.
Bretman also talked about one special award that he has received.
“What I'm most proud of in this room would probably be this award.
“It is the E! People's Choice Awards beauty Influencer of the Year.
“The reason why I'm so proud of this is because a couple of days before I received this award, my dad passed.
“And I almost did not wanna take the flight to accept this award, but I just felt like I had to, and my dad would have probably wanted me to go there and accept my award.
“And to be honest, I felt his presence that day.
“I feel like just this award itself is not just for me, but it's also for like my parents and their dreams and aspirations of me when I was a kid.”
Bits of Bretman's “weird” and unique personality can also be seen in his dining area, where he has the amusing butt chair.
Bretman also gave a shoutout to MCYIA, a Hawaii-based interior design firm, who helped him infuse pieces of his personality into his home.
The internet superstar, who recently won Breakthrough Social Star at the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards, also said that his dining area reminds him of his whole journey as a Filipino immigrant in the United States.
Bretman, who's born an Ilocano, shared that his dining room chandelier reminded him of the Philippines and the things he grew up around.
He also gave a glimpse of his beautiful and spacious kitchen, breakfast nook, his “living room living room” where he keeps some of his crystal collection and has a framed photo of Britney Spears, his Bretman-cave, beauty room, fitting room, production room, patio, front yard, bedroom and walk-in closet.
