We just can't get over Abdul Raman's new look because his bad boy buzz cut is making us swoon.

Legal Wives actor Abdul Raman surprised his fans and fellow celebrities when he posted on his Instagram a new set of photos from a recent stylized photoshoot showing his new "bad boy buzz cut."

A post shared by Abdul Rahman Eldakroury (@abdulraman23_)

The photos, which were shot by Raymond Cauilan, came with a short caption: "Bakugo." Several internet users claim that this word is a Japanese name which means "powerful" and "explosion."

Asked what made him decide to get a new look, Abdul told GMANetwork.com that he got the idea from the popular social media app TikTok.

He thought a new style--one that he has never tried before--would give him a fresh look.

Admittedly, he was nervous and excited at first.

The actor had always worn his hair long and wavy. Getting a buzz cut--with hair clipped by razor almost close to the roots--would be the last thing a person like Abdul would do.

Even his barber tried to talk him out of it, worrying the young heartthrob might regret it.

He even stopped several times during the grooming session and asked Abdul if he was still up for it.

Fortunately, Abdul liked it--wait, scratch that--Abdul loved it. It's better than what he imagined.

It made him look more mature and it gave him that "bad boy" swag.

"I really like the result, and yes better pa siya sa na-imagine ko na magiging look ko. Nag transform talaga mukha ko and nag mature in a way."

Fans, friends, and fellow celebrities were quick to share their opinion about Abdul's new look the moment the good-looking fellow posted his photos on his Instagram. Some liked it, some didn't.

"I expected mixed reactions.

Abdul is chill about the whole thing.

The Starstruck alum does miss his long hair at times.

But he knows that what he did was something to be proud of, because he took the right step towards a better, stronger, and happier version of himself.

"Minsan nakaka-miss 'yung long hair, lagi ko kasi ginagalaw 'yun pati pinaglalaruan. Minsan di pa rin ako sanay, pero as a good friend said, 'Cutting your hair is leaving the bad energy with it behind.'"
