Britney Spears is becoming more and more vocal about her life as the end of her conservatorship looks to be within reach.
In an Instagram post showing a painting, the pop star gave a little peek into what her situation was during the 13-year long conservatorship she was put under.
“I suggest if you have a friend that's been in a house that feels really small for four months … no car … no phone … no door for privacy and they have to work around 10 hours a day 7 days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off … I strongly suggest you go pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there!!!!!” she wrote as a caption for her Instagram post.
She then directly addressed her family without mincing her words, addressing their alleged inaction over the conservatorship for the past 13 years.
“If you're like my family who says things like 'sorry, you're in a conservatorship' … probably thinking you're different so they can f-k with you !!!!” she wrote.
Britney then went on to thank her lawyer Mathew Rosengart, who she says has “changed her life.”
Just yesterday, Britney also thanked the #FreeBritney movement () on her Twitter account, praising their “constant resilience” and saying that she ended up crying for two hours the night before.
She had also posted a similar message of gratitude on Instagram a few weeks before.
Britney's battle to end her conservatorship has led to some explosive revelations. One such revelation was shown in the New York Times documentary titled "Controlling Britney Spears.” According to the documentary, Britney's calls and texts were being monitored by her father, Jamie Spears, who also acted as her conservator.
