'StarStruck' finalist Jesi Corcuera shows off his surgery scars

Former StarStruck contestant and proud transman Jesi Corcuera was feeling emotional as he marked a new milestone in his life.

The actor, vlogger, and LGBTQIA+ advocate shared to the public on Instagram that he underwent chest surgery.

According to Jesi, he described this moment as one of the happiest in his life.

He shared, “Hindi maitagong ngiti. Mga ngiti na walang katumbas na halaga.”

Jesi then continued, Maaring hindi niyo maintindihan ang sayang aking nararamdaman. Pero sa likod ng mga hiwa sa ilalim ng aking dibdib yan ang simbolo ng aking kalayaan. Kalayaan sa mapanghusgang lipunan. Para sa mga tulad kong parte ng makulay na bahaghari wag kayong titigil makamit ang inyong kalayaan at kasiyahan.”

Before ending his post, Jesi thanked his family and all his supporters for following his amazing journey.

“Maraming salamat sa suporta mula sa aking pamilya at sariling pamilya kasama ka @corcueracams At sa nag-iisang duktor na hindi sumuko at nagtiwala saakin Dok @docyappy Mahal ko kayo.”
