In his post last August 2017, Mark underwent a surgery at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center. He said, “Thank you Lord for the successful surgery today.” It was not clear if he decided to remover his breasts in the said operation.

Doing make up and hair styling is an art regardless of your gender weather you're a man or a woman.. It is a gift to be a an artist.✍🏻”

Many were surprised when Sabel Gonzales transformed and embraced his male identity again. He cut off his long hair and posted on Facebook the reason why he decided to make this drastic change.
According to Mark, “It's 2018, and I found my true happiness in life from Our Lord Jesus Christ. 🏻 only God can change to you and to me .. so accept and follow Jesus now as our savior and repent from our sins. He is the only way, the truth and the life to be with the Father and to be in heaven”

Through his Facebook, Mark posted his message for his transgender sisters and family. "It is not my advocacy to tell our trans sisters that they need to be back as a man. I am sharing and expressing the joy in my heart that I found my salvation through Jesus. It is about Jesus, it's not about me," he explained.
