Celebrity Life

Jake Vargas at 21

The name “Jake Vargas” never fails to ring a bell. The well-loved actor just turned 21 last July 9, and is ready to face adulthood with a smile on his face. Before his live chat with Bea Binene last July 17, Jake shared his thoughts on cooking, relaxation and giving back.

The baby-faced actor delights in sharing his blessings and getting to know those who look up to him. As a matter of fact, his own birthday celebration was very simple, yet touching.

He also mentioned that getting to act and sing in front of the camera makes him happy, because he knows that even in this small way, he can brighten his fans’ day. That is why his birthday wish is “…sana magtuloy-tuloy pa ‘yung career ko, more blessings and more projects.”

One of his projects, Home Sweet Home will be ending this July 19. What has he learned from his experiences in the series?

If given the chance to go to a different world or dimension just like his character, Benjie in Home Sweet Home, where would Jake go?

He also added that it would be fun to bring loveteam Bea Binene along in that different dimension. Jake mentioned that he always hangs out with Bea. He said, “Okay kami ni Bea.

When he is not hanging out with Bea, Jake spends the rest of his time at home playing computer games. He also plays the guitar when he’s in the mood. Not many people know that Jake wants to practice his cooking skills. He stated, “Balak ko kunin ‘yung Culinary Arts.

Whether he’s on-cam or off-screen, Jake remains adorable because of his positive outlook. Catch more of him in Home Sweet Home, Pepito Manaloto and Sunday All Stars on GMA. --Text by Samantha Portillo, Photo by Bochic Estrada, GMANetwork.com
