Coleen Garcia mourns loss of her cat, Anya
Actress Coleen Garcia woke up to very sad news today, May 9. She lost Anya, a Sphynx that was given to her as an anniversary gift by her now-husband Billy Crawford when they were just BF-GF.
She wore: "This morning, I had a heavy feeling in my chest, and I didn't know why. I told @billycrawford that I just felt like today was going to be a dark day.
"Today, we lost our dearest Anya. Most of you who truly know us know how much she meant to us, and how much we loved her. Those who had the chance to meet her also knew how amazingly pleasant, loving, and affectionate she was. She was also curious, patient, and playful in the best way. The MOST MALAMBING CAT EVER, I would always say. And she was so so uniquely beautiful in person. Her presence was something else. She was a stunning yet intimidating-looking cat, but she was always so friendly to everyone.
Despite the heartbreaking news, Coleen is thankful that her son Amari was able to enjoy Anya's company.
She continued to write: "She really was his favorite pet. This is what breaks my heart the most. I know that he doesn't really know what's going on. Time will pass and he might not even remember her one day, but I will always treasure those little moments that made us all smile. She's unforgettable, and irreplaceable. Truly one of a kind. Our home will never be the same without her. 💔💔💔"
