Andrea Torres on fashion, showbiz and love

Kapuso actress Andrea Torres was among the celebrities who walked the runway last August 3 at the Green Invasion fashion show held in K-Pub, The Fort Strip. The sexy and statuesque beauty donned a chic, black dress by Michelle Romero.
The talented actress told us that she really loved her outfit in the show because it was feminine and form-flattering.
“’Yung gown, akala mo mahaba siya, pero paglakad mo, may reveal. Parang maganda rin ‘yung cut niya sa side, may reveal din! Kumbaga, it’s something new for me. First time kong makasuot ng ganung style na damit,” she explained.
The sultry actress was impressed by the work of Michelle Romero, and was all praises for all the designers who were part of the show.
“It’s my first time [to work with Michelle Romero], actually. Nakakaproud kasi they’re a new batch of designers, so parang nakikita mo na the future looks bright,” stated Andrea
When having an outfit designed, the result is always a mishmash of ideas between Andrea and the designer.
“I allow the designer to show me muna what he wants, kung ano ‘yung vision niya, tapos saka ko itu-tweak ng kaunti kung kailangan man,” she elaborated.
Andrea also talked about her personal style, which she described as feminine.
She elaborated, “Ako kasi, always feminine. Minsan, nilalagyan ko ng parang rock na dating depende sa mood. Minsan, mas casual pero always girly ‘yung dating. Never ako ‘yung naka t-shirt lang or shorts, gusto ko, naglalaro-laro ako sa damit ko.”
On a typical night out, what would Andrea be wearing?
“Something short and more on basic colors para madaling ternohan,” said the pretty actress who was wearing a short long-sleeved floral dress with sexy silver heels.
Andrea’s With A Smile character, Isay, may not share Andrea’s flair for short dresses, but the Kapuso actress plays the role convincingly. What should viewers look forward to in the romantic comedy series?
“Marami! Ang ganda nga, kasi hindi kami nagsi-stick sa isang formula lang. Tina-try namin mag-drama minsan, tapos meron din kayong makikitang konting may action. May mga darating din na characters na manggugulo,” she revealed.
Andrea’s good friend, Max Collins has also joined the cast of With A Smile as Patricia, the childhood sweetheart of Dean (played by Mikael Daez. How does Andrea feel about the Isay-Patricia rivalry?
“Okay lang naman, kasi sa totoong buhay, talagang ganyan naman. Hindi ganun kadali, kaya maraming makaka-relate. Mas exciting kasi hindi mo alam kung sino ang mapupunta kanino. Kay Aston, may darating din, eh.”
Has she experienced something similar in real life?
“Nangyari na rin, pero nasa paghahandle mo naman ‘yun, ‘di ba?” said Andrea.
What tips could she give for girls who are torn between two guys?
“Usually, nasa nararamdaman mo naman ‘yun eh, kung kanino ka mas kumportable. Mayroong mas talaga. Pipiliin mo nalang kung kanino may spark,” advised Andrea.
