Jennylyn Mercado on her son Alex Jazz: 'Parang lahat nasa kanya na'

Jennylyn exceeded aesthetic standards as she stood in front of the cameras during Anak ko ‘Yan's pictorial last August 8. Sans the make-up and couture creation that she wore, Jennylyn would have remained just as pretty with the glow that she exuded, attributed mainly to her active and stress-free lifestyle.

A lot of her happiness can also be credited to her unico hijo, Alex Jazz, who just turned four today (August 16, 2013).

She threw a children’s party for her son yesterday at his school where Jazz happily celebrated with his classmates, as chronicled in Jennylyn’s twitter account. As for their more private family celebration, “Isasabay ko 'yung birthday n’ya at birthday ng mom ko kasi halos magkalapit lang,” Jennylyn said.

The Kapuso actress/host has been very hands-on, and successful in raising her son. It’s not surprising that she cannot think of any more material gift for Jazz. “Wala nga ako’ng maisip eh. Parang lahat nasa kanya na. Siguro bibigyan ko na lang s’ya ng dagdag sa book collection n’ya. Mahilig kasi s’ya sa books,” Jennylyn disclosed of his handsome tyke.

“Good health at lumaki s’yang magalang at mabait,” was Jen’s simple wish for his beloved son.

Despite of her busy schedule not to mention her new show Anak ko ‘Yan, Jazz remains to be Jennylyn’s top priority. Even though she was a product of a talent show herself, Jennylyn has been consistent in saying that she is hesitant in letting Jazz enter showbiz. “Hanggang pictorial lang,” Jennylyn firmly, albeit jokingly, said.
