Rocco Nacino, hahataw sa trabaho ngayong taon

Versatile Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino can be considered as one of the busiest showbiz personalities today, with multiple TV shows and movie projects slated to be released this year. Hindi naman ikinaila ng Starstruck V alumni ang plano niyang paghataw sa trabaho in an interview with GMANetwork.com during a visit to the set of his upcoming Telebabad series Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas.
"I don't want to relax, gusto kong magtrabaho ng magtrabaho. Kahit nakakapagod, nakaka-drain, I feel motivated. Hindi ko inakala na magiging ganito ang 2013 ko. I'm just excited for everything. I get nice roles, napaka-significant ng mga nakukuha ko so hindi ko dapat i-take for granted ang mga ito. Buong 2013, hataw!" shares a very energetic Rocco.
Aside from Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, where he will star alongside Lovi Poe and Cesar Montano, Rocco will also have a guest appearance in GMA News TV's Titser, which will eventually lead to Bayan Ko's second season. He was and will also be very visible on the silver screen, starring in movies like Burgos, Ibong Adarna, and Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir.
"We just finished Ibong Adarna din, so bugbog ang schedule. Mag-guest din ako sa Titser, mag-segue na kami sa Season 2 ng Bayan Ko. Nire-ready ko na ang sarili ko na magka-white hair ulit. We might start on October," he elaborates.
It's also his first time to work with Laurice Guillen for Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, at ngayon pa lang ay marami na siyang natutunan mula sa batikang direktor. "Tutok siya sa amin, that's one of the best things you can get from a director. It's not doing something over and over again. Kumbaga, ang daming bagong nuances, maraming styles ng acting na tinuturo niya sa amin. And she's always there to guide us, from our bida to the smallest actors, our youngest actor, tutok na tutok siya doon. That's how dedicated she is kasi artista din siya and she knows what a good scene is like. Nakakatuwa 'yung dedication ni Direk, nakaka-motivate."
In the said primetime series, Rocco will play the role of Jerry, a con artist who will be trapped in a game of lies and deceit orchestrated by his childhood love Agatha, played by Charee Pineda. He says he is currently enjoying his new role, but is also interested in trying out other genres. "I'm enjoying this character that I have, playing a con artist. Manloloko ako ng tao. It's interesting, so I want to embrace this first. Pero siyempre, I'm into action talaga. Hopefully, when the time is right, I'll get a project na pure action or action-drama."
And who would he like to be paired with if he is given such a project?
"Si Lovi Poe! Alam niyo ba si Lovi, dating nag-gymnastics 'yan? Kaya gusto ko siya makapareha para mapilitan siyang ibalik ang skills niya, para ipakita niya sa inyong lahat," biro pa niya.
