Celebrity entrepreneur Lovely Abella shared highlights of her baptism, together with her husband Benj Manalo, and their inspiring spiritual journey on Instagram.
The Manalo couple, who tied the knot in January 2021, talked about this life-changing moment for the both of them.
In an Instagram post on June 19, Lovely told her followers, “Yesterday is The Best day of our Lives. We Saved by God. Thank you babe dahil ikaw ang mas napalapit sakin kay LORD, mas lalo ako nagkaroon ng deeper relationship with God. Mas naiintindihan ko kung paano mag Obey sa kaniya. Lord alam kung simula pa lang to at excited kami sa Journey namin with you. Happy Father's day po.”
She also greeted her husband a Happy Father's Day and thanked him for all his efforts he has done for their family.

“Happy Father's day. Thank you sa lahat ng ginagawa mo para sa family natin. We love you so much. Heto ang pinaka the best gift na nareceive mo this day walang iba kundi si HOLY SPIRIT.”
Benj, on the other hand, admitted that there were so many ups and downs in his spiritual life in the past 16 years.
He noted, “16 years of ups and downs on my journey to know Christ, 2006 I was introduced to His word, but I got lost. Have done a lot of things in my life that I know were not pleasing to God. I was selfish with all my actions for my own intentions only. Not until last year 2021 when I was at my worst, Jesus used pastor @francis_cutiongco to answer my prayers, I was caught off guard but I knew from that Time, God wanted me to know Him more.”
The son of comedian Jose Manalo continued, “Yesterday, I surrendered my life and dedicated my life to God! Guess what not only me but also my Wife @lovelyabella_ and soon all of our household, family and friends will surely know Him better.
“I have so many things I wanted to share about my journey and me and my wife's journey, but I know God has a perfect time for that. For today we celebrate this new life with Christ. Praise God!”
