Despite her failures, Janina managed to win the hearts of the judges and the much-coveted crown. However, the beauty queen chose a different path and is now living a simple life as a private citizen.
In an interview for CNA Insider, Janina exposed the pageant industry by describing it as full of “indecent proposals.” She revealed, “Nung nandun na kami, may nagsabi ng PhP 3 million for a one night stand. 'Yung PhP 25 million ano yun gagawin ka niyang girlfriend. Bibigyan ka niya ng car, condo, resort--lahat.”
In her personal Instagram account, Janina shares her journey as she adapts to the many skills she's been born with. One of which is cooking, with which she's learned how to hone by enrolling at Enderun College.

She said, “Nakuha ko na 'yung experience. But other than that, wala na. To tell you honestly, I was really not happy at that time. For me, much important [kasi] 'yung family ko rather than fortune and fame.”
