Chris Tiu weds his longtime girlfriend

The news that cager and iBilib host Christ Tiu has tied the knot came as a surprise to many. The 28 year-old Kapuso heartthrob married Clarisse Ong, his girlfriend of 12 years. The ceremony was held in Vancouver, Canada last September 7.
As featured in Startalk TX last October 5, it was reported that the couple had a private ceremony attended by family members and close friends. When asked by sports website, Spin.ph why they decided to get married in Vancouver, the sports personality and TV host said, “It’s my favorite city in the world…next to Manila!”
According to Startalk TX’s researchers, Clarisse finished her studies in Vancouver. Chris was only in 3rd year High School when he met his future wife, Clarisse. She was his first ever girlfriend.
According to the report of Philippine Entertainment Portal, Clarisse is an investment banker. Spin.ph’s report states that several sources describe Mrs. Chris Tiu as camera shy.
