Hailey Mendes receives surprise birthday party from 'Underage' cast and crew

Sparkle actress Hailey Mendes celebrates her 18th birthday today, August 24.

To mark the special occasion, the Kapuso star received a surprise birthday party from the cast and crew of the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Underage inside their lock-in taping.

On Instagram, Hailey shared a series of photos showing her meaningful celebration and expressed her gratitude to the entire team of the show, saying, “Thank you to my very loving mommy @jasmineangeles18 and to my Underage fam for the surprise birthday celebration!"

She continued, “Hindi ko in-expect na magkakaroon ako ng masayang celebration sa loob ng lock-in taping. Mahal na mahal ko kayong lahat!”

Among those who sent their birthday greetings to Hailey are Kapuso talents Jenzel Angeles, Sofia Pablo, Maey Bautista, and Cheska Fausto.

In Underage, Hailey will portray the role of Carrie Serrano, while Lexi Gonzales and Elijah Alejo are set to play the characters Celine and Chynna Serrano, respectively.
