Kara David celebrates birthday through an outreach mission
Kara David proves she's more than just a journalist.
Last Monday, September 12, award-winning broadcast journalist Kara David celebrated her 49th birthday.
As part of her birthday celebration and tradition, Kara went to Floridablanca, Pampanga for her 'Project Malasakit' which helps remote communities in the Philippines through outreach and community projects.
The TV host provided groceries and school supplies to almost 300 Aeta families.
“Visited the Ayta community of Sitio Camachile, Floridablanca Pampanga last Sunday. Thanksgiving for my 49th birthday and Julia's graduation last July. Her college thesis was about Education and the Ayta people. As a gesture of gratitude, we held an outreach mission to provide school supplies and groceries to 280 Ayta families. My heart is full,” she captioned in her post.
In the comments section, some of her followers expressed their gratitude and admiration for the news reporter.
