The Sparkle artist shares her thoughts on being a guest anchor for 24 Oras' Chika Minute!
In a newly uploaded vlog on her YouTube channel, Sparkle artist Kyline Alcantara got real with her followers and answered some of Google's top searched questions about her. One of the questions asked was regarding her news anchor experience on 24 Oras' Chika Minute segment.
In case you didn't know, when resident Chika Minute anchor Iya Villania takes a break from her duties, a Kapuso actress temporarily takes over her spot. From time to time, Kyline is invited over to fill in and delivers the showbiz news for the night.
In her vlog, Kyline shared, “Sobrang gustong-gusto ko na nagiging Chika Minute anchor ako sa 24 Oras but at the same time guys sobrang, sobrang, sobrang kinakabahan ako. Ewan ko pero hindi ko ma-describe, iba 'yung intensity sa loob ng newsroom especially kapag nandun pa sins Ms. Mel (Tiangco) [and] sir Mike (Enriquez). Minsan nandun pa si Atom Araullo nanonood.”
“Iba talaga 'yung intensity sa newsroom. Kahit nakatayo lang naman ako, 'yung kaba kasi na parang buong Pilipinas pinapanood ka, hindi ko ma-explain pero ang saya and I'm thankful dahil pinagkatiwalaaan ako ng GMA News and Public Affairs and of course ng '24 Oras' para maging isa sa mga Chika Minute anchors,” she further admits.
Although Kyline admits she gets nervous when filling the spot for Iya Villania, the Kapuso actress always delivers the news with poise and grace.
