Kapamilya singer Nadine Lustre got the shock of her life in September 2017, when she found out that she contracted dengue. According to the World Health Organization, dengue is a mosquito-borne disease that causes severe flu-like illness or, in some cases, a potentially lethal complication called severe dengue.
