The two met in Bacolod in 2010 and have been inseparable since.
Jason and Vickie met in an out-of-town show in Bacolod where Vickie was based.
Though Jason lived in Manila, they remained friends and later on dated.
They officially revealed their relationship in 2011 and got engaged in September 2021, after 10 years of being together.
In June 2022, they shared photos of their prenup taken in December 2021.
Despite many ups and downs, Jason and Vickie remained a solid couple.

Jason said that every time the Bacolod beauty would be in Manila, he would visit her. But at this time, no courtship happened. It took him about six or seven months to realize that he actually likes her.
All the while, the actor dated a non-showbiz girl until Vickie who was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 joined a reality TV show. It was only this time when people came to know who Jason's girlfriend is.
It was broadcasted on national TV that the two were having issues in their relationship, but it only made their bond stronger. They were able to fix the problems surrounding their relationship as a showbiz couple.
They have been attending showbiz events as a pair. In 2016, they traveled to Cebu to witness the wedding of celebrity couple Paul Jake Castillo and Kaye Abad.
It seems like traveling is their favorite bonding. They have traveled to Palawan, USA, Dubai, South Korea, United Kingdom, etc.
Infidelity issues haunted their relationship, but the couple proved they are stronger than their naysayers.
“It's better when we're together,” Jason said. Indeed, a couple who works out together, stays together.
The actor thanked the love of his life for holding on all these years, “Tinuruan mo ako mag mahal, Baba, pinakita mo sa akin ang totoong pagmamahal. Hindi ka nagsasawang magmahal, nakakapit ka pa din kahit anong mangyari. 'Yon ang nagagawa mo para sa akin, Baba, ang mahalin ako na habang ginagawa mo 'yan, nararamdaman ko ang pagmamahal sa atin ng Panginoon.”
Both are expressive of their love for one another. Jason made a DIY vanity mirror for his girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2018. On the other hand, Vickie loves to spoil and surprise her Baba on his birthdays.
Jason got to meet Vickie's family on her father's side. It was an answered prayer for the mestiza beauty, and she thanked her boyfriend for being with her during the special occasion.
Jason proposed to Vickie in September 2021 but they kept it a secret from the public until June 2022.
Vickie is in full support of Jason's electoral campaign as a board member for Nueva Ecija's 2nd District.
