Luane Dy has hit the jackpot since joining the longest-running Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga in 2017. But what was her life before becoming a Dabarkad? In an interview withTunay na Buhay, she revealed that before becoming a celebrity, she used to appear in some commercials for food brands.
In 2001, Luane tried her luck in an image model search at the tender age of 14.
She further honed her hosting skills by being part of the high-rating morning showUnang Hirit, working side-by-side with the industry's best, like Arnold Clavio, Lyn Ching, Suzi Entrata-Abrera, and Rhea Santos.
Luane also tried out acting appearing in some Kapuso soaps, among which was I Heart You Pare in 2011.
Two years later, she joined Genesis, the Kapuso primetime series top-billed by the King of Primetime, Dingdong Dantes.
Aside from being one of the most in-demand hosts in the Kapuso Network, Luane Dy is happily in love with fellow Kapuso Carlo Gonzalez. They have been in a relationship for more than seven years already.
Here's a little trivia about Luane. Did you know that her guesting in the hit segment of Eat Bulaga 'Jackpot En Poy' pave the way for her to join the stellar cast of the noontime show. She said, “After nu'n kinausap na ako ng EP ng mga bossing ng 'Bulaga.' Sabi nila, dati ka pa nagge-guest ng 'Bulaga,' tina-try ka na naming kuhanin. So medyo matagal na daw, sabi nila, kaso may 'Balitanghali' ako. Magkasabay. Nagkaroon pa ako ng dilemma, dahil naka-kontrata ako."
Luane has even become more popular since she joined Eat Bulaga in 2017. In her post on Instagram, she thanked the whole management of the show for giving her the chance to be part of their 40th anniversary.
